We offer a fixed fee interview where we assess your claim as to whether you might avoid paying nursing home and care home fees.

There are many reasons why NHS care funding assessments may be incorrect. If you have been refused NHS funding and are paying for your own care, you may be able to reclaim your nursing home fees. However, sometimes the assessments are correct, and therefore our fixed fee interview will help you understand if your case is strong enough to proceed. This initial fixed fee consultation costs £120 plus VAT.

If your case cannot be resolved at this stage we can prepare detailed representations and /or deal with the entire challenge process on your behalf. If you are reclaiming nursing home fees that you have already paid, we can often manage this on a contingency fee arrangement or  ‘no-win no-fee’ basis. Where nursing care fees are still being paid, we will give you an assessment of your case, the prospects of success and the likely cost.

If we decide that you might have a good case, and you want us to deal with it for you, then you have a choice. Which method of paying for our specialist services depends on your personal circumstances, and your choice; but usually, a claim will be funded in one of the following ways:

• Private paying basis (worked out on a time spent basis)
• Insurance (legal expenses are often covered by your household policy)
• Contingency fee Agreement (no win no fee arrangement)
